Almost a year late, but Xiaomi Mi 4 coming to India on Jan 28 at around Rs 20,000

It has been confirmed that Xiaomi will be launching its Mi 4 smartphone in India on January 28. Earlier, in an exclusive interaction with, Xiaomi India head Manu Jain had hinted that the price of the upcoming Mi 4 smartphone would be around Rs 20,000.

The Mi 4 smartphone is already listed on Xiaomi World and the 4G version is priced at $379.99 which is around Rs 23,474. “India price of most of our products are very similar,” said Jain in a report previously. However, given the fact that Xiaomi likes to surprise its fans, we can expect the price to be less than that.

Running Android 4.4.3 KitKat operating system sugarcoated with MIUI 6, the phone will offer a 13MP rear camera along with an 8M front camera. The rear camera will support 4K video recording.
